Bradley Tusk
FOUNDER
Bradley Tusk is the founder and CEO of Tusk Holdings and the founder of the Mobile Voting Project, which is building secure technology to make voting on your phone a reality. In 2025, the Mobile Voting Project released VoteSecure, a secure, open-source mobile voting platform whose code is publicly available on GitHub. Legislation to allow mobile voting is advancing in multiple states, and Anchorage will be the first city to offer mobile voting in its municipal elections. Bradley’s April 2025 TED Talk on mobile voting was ranked by TED as one of the ten most essential talks of the year.
Bradley is also the founder of Tusk Strategies, a leading political consulting firm, and Tusk Ventures, the first venture capital fund focused on early-stage startups in highly regulated industries. He has helped companies such as Lemonade, Ro, FanDuel, Coinbase, Circle, Latch, and Bird navigate complex political and regulatory challenges. Earlier in his career, he served as campaign manager for Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Deputy Governor of Illinois, and communications director for U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer. He was also Uber’s first political adviser, where he pioneered the customer-mobilization strategy that later inspired the concept of mobile voting.
In addition, Bradley founded Solving Hunger, which has helped pass 29 laws in 23 states to expand access to school meals, unlocking $6.8 billion in new funding to feed 4.75 million additional people—most of them children.
He is the author of Vote With Your Phone, The Fixer, and Obvious in Hindsight, and hosts the podcast Firewall. He lives in Manhattan and remains an irrational Mets fan.
Sheila Nix
CEO
Sheila Nix is the CEO of The Mobile Voting Project, where she leads the organization’s national strategy to expand secure mobile voting and bring VoteSecure — its open-source mobile voting platform — to jurisdictions across the country. A veteran political strategist with nearly three decades of experience in government, campaigns, and nonprofit leadership, Sheila most recently served as Chief of Staff to Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential campaign. She previously served as Chief of Staff to Dr. Jill Biden and as a Deputy Assistant to President Obama, coordinating major policy and communications initiatives, and was Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Education. Sheila also served as President of Tusk Philanthropies and has held senior roles in the U.S. Senate, including Chief of Staff to Senators Bob Kerrey and Bill Nelson, the Illinois Governor’s Office, and on multiple presidential campaigns. In addition, Nix served as the U.S. Executive Director of Bono's ONE Campaign.She holds a law degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Creighton University.

Michelle Feldman
POLITICAL DIRECTOR
Michelle Feldman has led successful issue advocacy, communications and electoral campaigns from both inside and outside of government for more than two decades.
Currently, she is the Political Director at Mobile Voting, where she advocates for the implementation of secure voting via smartphone to increase voter participation and election integrity. Previously, Michelle was the Director of Advocacy and Campaigns at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she led teams that passed laws strengthening gun violence prevention measures. Michelle’s background includes serving as Director of State Campaigns at the Innocence Project, a national organization that addresses wrongful convictions. There she oversaw criminal justice reform campaigns that passed more than 30 laws in over half the states in the country. Her government experience includes serving as Legislative and Communications Director for New York City Council Member Jessica Lappin, where she spearheaded efforts to bring the Cornell-Technion campus to Roosevelt Island. Her career started in Albany, advising Assembly Democrats in swing districts on policy and communications. She has also managed electoral campaigns for state and city candidates. Michelle has been featured in The New York Times Magazine, Washington Post and other major new outlets. She has served as a board member of HousingPlus, which provides military veterans and justice-impacted women with housing and wraparound services. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is an AVODAH fellow.
Bryce Bennett
GRASSROOTS DIRECTOR
Bryce Bennett is a nonprofit leader and former legislator who has committed his life to making democracy more accessible for all Americans. For over a decade, Bryce worked at organizations like Forward Montana and MontPIRG, training and empowering young people to become civic leaders. His work earned him recognition for building high-impact teams and growing grassroots movements that punch above their weight. In 2010, Bryce was elected to the Montana House of Representatives at just 25, becoming the youngest member of the session and the first openly gay man elected to the Montana Legislature. He later served in the State Senate and ran for Secretary of State in 2020, using his platform to champion secure and accessible elections. Recognized nationally by The Advocate and Out magazines, and honored as “Legislator of the Year” for his work on campaign finance reform, Bryce went on to lead Vote Early Day, a national initiative bringing together nonprofits, businesses, and election officials to help Americans vote early and confidently. Bryce is excited to continue his work to empower voters and strengthen our democracy at The Mobile Voting Project.
Cory Epstein
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Cory Epstein is the Senior Vice President of Communications at Tusk Holdings. In this role, he works directly with Bradley Tusk on a wide variety of projects, including serving as communications lead for Mobile Voting. Before joining Tusk, Cory was the Director of Communications at Transportation Alternatives in New York City. During the 2020 election cycle, he worked as a Senior Advisor at the DCCC, focusing on a battleground congressional race in Pennsylvania. He previously was a member of the communications team at Lyft, where he served as the spokesperson for Citi Bike, the largest bike share network in North America. Cory began his public affairs career in New York City as a Communications Director on the New York City Council and was a Coro Fellow in 2015-2016. He attended Vassar College and now lives in Brooklyn.
